OUR PEOPLE
Lighthouse Health & Safety is owned and operated by Andrew Chandran, a career veteran with over 25 years of experience in the mining, petroleum and renewable energy industries in Australia, United Kingdom (UK), United States of America (USA), South Korea, China, South-East Asia and the Middle East.

Andrew's experience extends across the full lifecycle of Asset and Project Development, having previously worked for several Tier 1 global mining and petroleum operators, engineering service providers (ESP) and construction contractors. However, he is best known in Australia for his profound regulatory contributions in Occupational Health & Hygiene, whilst working for the Commonwealth offshore petroleum Safety Authority.

Andrew is a Chartered OHS Professional (ChOHSP) and well-regarded as a leading WHS educator, influencer and developer of industry-defining initiatives, including Hands-Off for Safety Training, The Right Way to Wellbeing, LHS Podcast and establishment of national best practices in occupational noise regulation and prevention of asbestos importation into Australia.

He holds a Master of Business Administration, Post-Graduate Diploma in OH&S and a Bachelor of Science.
